Prysm Deals ("we", "our", or "the App") is an Android application developed by Shamila. We facilitate the discovery of curated Amazon products and lightning deals. Our operations are governed by a Privacy-by-Design philosophy: we do not use social logins, identity tracking, or background data harvesting.
2. Information We Collect
Prysm Deals is designed to function with minimal data. We collect only the following technical metadata to ensure app stability and affiliate attribution:
- Interaction Data: Anonymous logs of categories or products clicked to optimize the deal feed.
- System Metadata: Device model (e.g., Pixel 7), OS version, and crash reports via Firebase to debug issues.
- Local Storage: Your "Wishlist" and saved preferences are stored locally on your device via Android's secure sandbox.
3. Information We Do Not Collect

We NEVER access, request, or store: Personal names, email addresses, phone numbers, contact lists, physical addresses, credit card info, or precise GPS location data.

5. Advertising & AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements which support the continued development of the app. AdMob may use your Advertising ID to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can reset your Advertising ID or opt-out of ad personalization in your Android Device Settings (Google > Ads).
6. Amazon Affiliate Disclosure
Prysm Deals is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you.
7. GDPR & International Rights
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK, we implement the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP). This allows you to explicitly grant or deny consent for data processing. You may revoke or modify your consent settings at any time within the "Settings" menu of the App.
8. Data Security
All communication between the App and our Firebase database is handled via industry-standard SSL/TLS (HTTPS) encryption. Local data is protected by the Android operating system's application sandboxing, ensuring other apps cannot access your Prysm Deals wishlist.
